In a bid to encourage learning and awareness, the Centre for Labour Laws introduced two online certificate courses on Labour Laws and Insurance Laws, respectively. Both courses are designed to equip students to develop an analytical perspective about the existing legal framework of Labour Laws and Insurance Laws and suggest necessary changes.
These one-month-long courses were open to academicians, researchers, UG and PG students, stakeholders of the field, members of enforcement agencies and advocates. Special care was taken by the Course Coordinator, Mr. Mahendra Soni, to ensure that the course modules were designed in such a manner which is easily comprehensible even by the students with a non-legal background. We feel proud to announce that the courses received around 150 registrations each, from a wide array of people and have been a huge success so far.
The Courses were launched on 14th June 2021 and, the occasion was graced by the benign presence of Prof. (Dr.) V Vijayakumar, Vice Chancellor, NLIU Bhopal; Prof. (Dr.) Paramjeet S. Jaswal, Vice Chancellor, SRM University, Sonepat; & Prof. (Dr.) Balraj Chouhan, Vice Chancellor, DNLU Jabalpur. As a part of the distance learning courses, NLIU Bhopal through CLL has announced to conduct a PG level- Certificate Diploma course in Labour law and Insurance law to promote research and develop professional expertise in the field of labour and insurance law.
