As a means to arouse the interest of Law students, teachers, and practitioners across the country in the field of Labour Laws, Centre for Labour Law conducted the first NLIU online National Labour Law Quiz on 1st May 2020 on the occasion of Labour Day in India. The questions for the same were largely based on various Labour Law Legislations, History of Labour Law movement, and the general trivia related to Labour law.
More than 400 people participated in the Quiz and it became the largest Quiz ever hosted by NLIU. The Quiz was run smoothly with no technical glitches. Owing to the difficulty amongst the Labour class amidst the pandemic, a part of the funds raised through registration fees was donated to the CM Relief fund. This was the very first activity that was undertaken by the Centre, and to ensure that the Centre performs well, our very own Chairperson of the Centre, Asst. Prof Mahendra Soni, (NLIU Bhopal) guided the team throughout and with his guidance and efforts of every team member the Centre made it a huge success.
