About Our Patron In Chief

Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva

Chief Justice of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh, Justice Sachdeva, has over 30 years of legal experience. An alumnus of SRCC and the Campus Law Centre, Delhi University, he became an Advocate-on-Record of the Supreme Court in 1995, represented India at the Commonwealth Young Lawyers’ Course (1992), and trained lawyers under the Indo-British Advocacy Skills Project. He served as Standing Counsel for the Bar Council of India, Senior Panel Counsel for the Union of India, and was designated Senior Advocate in 2011. Elevated as Judge of the Delhi High Court in 2013 (permanent in 2015), he was transferred to Madhya Pradesh in 2024. As Patron-in-Chief of the Centre for Labour Laws, he advances scholarship in labour and employment law.

About Our Patron

Prof. (Dr.) S. Surya Prakash

Prof. (Dr.) S. Surya Prakash, Vice-Chancellor of the National Law Institute University, Bhopal since June 2023, is a distinguished academician with over 30 years of experience in legal education. He previously served as Vice-Chancellor of DSNLU, Visakhapatnam, and as the Founder Vice-Chancellor of MNLU, Aurangabad, besides teaching at NUJS, Kolkata, and DNR College of Law, Bhimavaram. Holding a B.L. from Acharya Nagarjuna University and an LL.M. in Labour and Industrial Law from Andhra University with first-class honours, he brings rich academic and leadership experience. As Patron of the Centre for Labour Laws, he provides vision and mentorship, advancing its mission in research, advocacy, and social justice.
